-2When I was 28 I lay in a hospital bed awaiting the results of surgery having earlier been diagnosed with cancer. Some questions popped into my head, why do winners win? why are rich people rich? why are happy people happy? These seeming random questions hit home to me, as I was 28 years of age, and was neither a winner, rich or happy.

After leaving hospital I dedicated myself to learning the answers to these questions, which resulted in the writing of Natural Born Winners. I believe the difference between success and failure finds its origins in our heads and not our circumstances. Everything we do is a result of how we think, and with very few exceptions winners think they can and will win, losers usually don’t.

Silent Mind Golf is not about the latest psychological research, or new age universal laws, it is about the basic connection of mind body. The guiding principles are simple, and within the reach of most people.

In short if you have reached a playing plateau and really want to improve your golf you need to change the way you think first. For all the wonderful innovations in technology, in the final analysis they are no substitute for ability. Technology simply enables it is not a solution, so the endless time and money we invest in new technology will never in itself give us the perfection we seek, until we understand the influence of the mental game and learn not only to master it, but connect to it at will.

Silent Mind Golf is the result of over 25 year research and personal exploration by Robin Sieger, a lifelong golfer, who used his recognized expertise on Peak Performance, Motivation and Success and the author of the international best seller Natural Born Winners, and applied it specifically a the game that is generally acknowledged to be at least 70% mental and 30% physical.
